These sketches were done in an 11 x 14 sketchbook I bring with me everywhere my wife and I travel.
One of the things I like about sketching outside is the unknown elements I may encounter. In London
it was really cold and I froze my bum on a park bench sketching a statue next to the River Thames.
In Cozumel it was so hot I was perspiring all over the page and the pages were starting to curl.
I sacrifice for my art! Although... I was having a couple of beers while sketching in Mexico.
I work in pen (2 thicknesses) because pencil will fade fast. No erasing with pen!
