I graduated from the Ontario College of Art, in Toronto ...a few years back.  I have been a professional artist and illustrator for 35 amazing years. I have been fortunate enough to have illustrated 29 books in a painterly style, designed 45 coins, completed commissioned paintings for many corporate clients including the Toronto Transit Commission. A number of the books and coins received awards. As well, I have had many unique and interesting projects - the completion of 34 oil paintings for a large church in Ontario, and paintings for a 3 book series, which brought to life the fascinating legends of the Inuit people in Canada's far north.

I have always loved to paint and explore all aspects of painting.  As you can see by looking at my galleries, I do not restrict myself to one particular style. Over the years I have developed a wide visual vocabulary.  As soon as I reach a comfort zone in a particular technique, I have the urge to explore something new.  My paintings have been exhibited in galleries across Ontario and hang in corporate and private collections.

Fun fact:  I have been in 2 movies where I played an artist (no speaking parts though). "The Simon Wiesenthal Story" where my sketches were used and my hand was shown for a few seconds sketching. In "Love and Betrayal: The Mia Farrow Story", I played the part of a courtroom artist.  In fact, I am a freelance courtroom artist and enjoy the exhilaration of sketching live subjects.
